Theory Festival, one of the UK’s most celebrated boutique festivals.
On the 20th May Zig Zag is offering an exciting opportunity to ride with fellow festival-goers on a scenic, fully-supported bike tour to the festival. Not only will you enjoy the thrill of the journey, taking in some fantastic scenery and stopping at great lunch spots along the way, but we’ll also take care of your camping gear and beer, ensuring you travel light and are ready to experience everything Bearded Theory has to offer!
Here’s What You Can Expect:
Transport for Your Gear: No need to worry about heavy backpacks or tents—we’ll transport your camping gear, luggage, and beverages for you. Just pack your essentials,
and we’ll take care of the rest.
Support Along the Way: The ride will be fully supported with a dedicated van and a professional mechanic on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout your journey. Whether you need a quick tune-up or assistance along the way, we’ve got you covered.
Bike and Luggage Return: Once the festival is over, while you catch the train home, we’ll transport your bike and luggage safely back to Nottingham. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to cycle back, just let us know—we can make arrangements for you!

A Scenic, 50km Route with Pub Stops:
The route to Bearded Theory will take you through a relaxed, ride, a fee hills, 50km ride, designed for cyclists of all levels. You’ll pedal through some of the most picturesque landscapes in the region, with plenty of opportunities to take in stunning views of rolling countryside, tranquil villages, and charming rural paths. Along the way, we’ve carefully selected several pub stops—perfect for a mid-ride rest and a drink and food, ensuring you stay fuelled for the journey ahead.
The route has been designed to provide a comfortable, enjoyable ride while offering scenic
variety, with quiet backroads and plenty of room to breathe. With great views and stops, you’ll have the chance to make new friends and share the excitement of the journey.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Points:
Drop-Off Location for Gear: Drop off your festival kit at the BikesLoveYou workshop,
75 Haydn Road, NG5 2LA, anytime between May 15th and May 20th
Meeting Point: Nottingham central library on Wednesday, May 20th at 09:30 AM.
Arrival Time: We aim to arrive at the festival around 16:00 PM.
Post-Festival:
After the festival, we’ll take your bike and all your festival kit back to Nottingham while you
travel home by train, feeling contented and relaxed. You can pick everything up from
BikesLoveYou on Tuesday, May 27th.
